When selecting the size for an inside mount, remember that all shades have a half-inch deduction. For example, if you order a 31" width size, you will receive an exact 30.5" shade. Simply select the width size of your window and adjust the height of the shade using the chain from 20" to 72" in length. For an outside mount, add 4 inches to the shade width. This means that the shade width will be 33"+4". All blind sizes are based on the top header width of the blind. There is approximately a 1.5-inch gap between the fabric and valance to allow for the top mechanism.
